Wit­hin the con­text of the art pro­ject “Nou­vel­le Nah­da” cura­ted by Neu­markt is the work of the pho­to­gra­phy, video and sound artists Myri­am Bou­los and Nour Sok­hon from Beirut.

The instal­la­ti­on, col­la­ged from pho­to­graphs and mani­pu­la­ted audio field record­ings, chro­ni­cles the sta­te of para­ly­sis and awa­ke­n­ing of the peop­le of Bei­rut: befo­re the revo­lu­ti­on, after it began, and after the explo­si­on. In addi­ti­on, the instal­la­ti­on pro­vi­des insights into the maga­zi­ne “The Out­post” by Ibra­him Neh­me, which crea­tes and dis­se­mi­na­tes a new nar­ra­ti­ve about and from the Arab region.
