Anthony Braxton Quartet

The unerhört! festival guests at Neumarkt with a brilliant festival opening.

The work of the luminary Anthony Braxton does not fit into any pigeonhole: jazz, new music, free improvisation, philosophy and social commitment are just a few strands in the work of the US-American. As a tireless experimenter, he has helped write the musical development of the last 50 years with numerous projects, and throughout his life he feels the pulse of the times and celebrates musical diversity and creativity.
We are eagerly awaiting the concert with his new quartet with bassist and multi-instrumentalist Carl Testa, drummer Mariá Portugal and saxophonist Mette Rasmussen. We can look forward to a brilliant start to this year's unerhört! festival!

The unerhört! festival has been dedicated to contemporary jazz for more than 20 years and will take place from November 18 to 27 at various cultural venues in Zurich and Winterthur.
